As much as I love neutral clothes, sometimes a pop of colour in my wardrobe wouldn’t hurt anyone. So let’s talk about a colour I don’t own too much of in my wardrobe – pink. Pink is often associated with femininity and can be worn all year round. There are so many shades of pink you can buy on the high street. Whether that be blush pink, bright pink, baby pink, coral pink…
So, there are many varieties of shades of pink to wear. The pink jumper I am wearing in these photos is from *New Look and it’s an absolute dream! The jumper can be styled with so many different outfits and looks. It’s been a lot of fun styling this pink jumper with items of clothing I already have hanging in my wardrobe.
So, how can you style a pink jumper? Here are 4 outfit ideas for you –
Outfit 1:
This first look is perfect for the start of Spring. It’s good for a “cold first thing in the morning but warm when you leave work” kinda day. These faux leather trousers from Topshop (similar here). I’ve styled it with my Veja trainers and my Furla crossbody to make this a good casual look. A look perfect to take you through the day!
Outfit 2:
When I was looking at how to wear this pink jumper, this look sprung into my mind when I saw my *white shirt in the wardrobe. I do like the white shirt under the jumper look. I’ve never tried it really as I thought it would not look good on me or wouldn’t suit me. I won’t lie, this look in particular has grown on me! White shirts are so versatile and I liked styling mine under this jumper. I have added my black skinny jeans and my Veja trainers and my Furla crossbody once again.
Outfit 3:
This is my favourite look as you can swap the bottoms. What I mean by that is that you can wear a pink jumper with blue jeans, shorts, white jeans, ecru jeans or black jeans. I styled mine with these *jeans and sneakers from New Look. Also I’ve thrown on my Accessorize crossbody for good measure.
Outfit 4:
An outfit perfect for work. It may not be suitable for when the hot weather comes around, but it’s perfect for those cold winter days when you still want to look smart for work. I’ve styled the pink jumper here with the New Look black mini skirt and chunky loafers.
I have had a look around for other pink jumpers if this shade of pink isn’t for you. Any shade of pink can work with these looks though!
